Regulation of strip clubs In a just government with just laws, strip clubs (adult entertainment establishments) would be divided into 2 types: A-type: dancing only establishments AAA-type: prostitution only (although this may also include dancing, etc.) These clubs would be identified at the entrance with an "A" or "AAA" marker. The police would regularly monitor the AAA-type clubs in the same way they regularly enforce speed limits for automobiles. They would send an undercover cop to one of the clubs posing as a customer. If the woman working there DOES NOT have sex with him, the woman would pay a $200 fine, and the club would be fined $500. If the woman repeats this offense at the same club within a 6 month period, the club would be shut down for one month and the owner fined $1000. This is how the police would enforce compliance for AAA-type clubs, following the rule: If you are in this club, then you are selling it. There would be no laws prohibiting prostitutes from working in A-type clubs. In A-type clubs, prostitutes could choose to work, or not to work. In both A-type and AAA-type clubs a woman can leave with a customer if she want to. If a customer is appears violent or dangerously intoxicated, a woman is not required to work for him. These laws an their implementation are to protect customers who are looking for sex and don't want to be ripped-off by clubs that "promise" one thing and don't deliver it. These false rip-off clubs, as of now, are common across North America and can also be found in Tokyo, Mexico City, and probably many other places. I believe they are spreading like a cancer, and will continue to spread if unchecked. [http://www.peterlavetti-art.net/various/World-News-and-Latest-Trends-more.htm] related article 1 |
